Soil Science with Clydesdale Soil Health Network and Nature Friendly Farming Network

Clydesdale Soil Health Network and the Nature Friendly Farming Network are teaming up with soil scientists to bring a brand new travelling soil lab to BSF2026.
The Clydesdale Soil Health Network is a farmer-led community in South Lanarkshire, connecting growers and land managers to improve soil health and support regenerative, nature-friendly farming. Together, we build resilient farms, richer biodiversity, and stronger local food systems. The Nature Friendly Farming Network (NFFN) is a farmer-led membership organisation that supports farmers who want to restore the balance between farming and nature.
Together with expert soil scientists, they will bring their soil lab to demonstrate just how critical our soil is, and how we can look after it.
