DESCRIPTION:The Clyde River Foundation researches the ecology of the River 
 Clyde and its tributaries and promotes environmental education throughout t
 he catchment. Its work is intended to improve our understanding and managem
 ent of 6\,000km of burns and rivers. Dr Willie Yeomans has led a small team
  of scientists researching the ecology of the River Clyde 'all the way from
  Leadhills to the sea' (as the song says!) since 2002 and will talk about t
 he scientific (fish\, water quality and habitat surveying) and education wo
 rk the Foundation undertakes.
